Looking for ways to keep swimming through the summer? Here's a few things to consider . . .
Boston Pizza Junior Triathlon
This event has always been a big hit with KISU swimmers. Their strong swimming background takes them through the first leg easily and sets them up for success as they try out Penticton’s sport of triathlon. The race is coming up THIS WEEKEND! Check out the link below for details:

Open Water Swim Events
We’ve heard that the Across the Lake Swim in Kelowna is already full, but there are a few other Open water events that our KISU swimmers can do well in.
Rattlesnake Island – 3.1 or 7km. See more details here - http://www.peachland.ca/cms.asp?wpID=45
Kelowna Open Water Swim – August 16 and 17.
There is a free Open Water Swim clinic put on by Canadian’s Olympian, Richard Weinberger as well as 1.5km and 5km races. More info – http://okmasters.com/meets/2013-apple-open-water-invitational
KISU Summer Masters
Are you a Masters swimmer who hasn't yet signed up for Summer Masters? Join us in the lake and/or pool for training three days per week throughout July and August. Details are available on the Masters tab from our website's home page.
Enjoy your summer!
