Swimmers of the Month for April 2012
Age Group
Congratulations to Keaton Woods for earning this month's honour as Swimmer of the Month. Keaton swims 'in the shadows' at times, as his quiet yet fun demeanour masks his shark like qualities in the water. Keaton has pushed himself in practice on a regular basis, and as a result earned AA time standards. His strokes are developing nicely as a result of his dedication and diligence. We look forward to seeing how much faster Keaton and his swim mates can swim at the upcoming Kelowna meet. This is our first long course meet of the season so it will be exciting to see how everyone does. Thanks Keaton for all your efforts and keep up the excellent efforts.
Seniors
My swimmer of the month was Kenzi Haberstock. Kenzi took this month’s prize for her attendance, work ethic and great attitude. Kenzi is committed to several sports other than swimming, but still maintains a great attendance record by coming out to morning practices when there is a conflict with her afternoon schedule. Kenzi has a great work ethic and often leaves the pool with a red face from training so hard. At the end of every practice, Kenzi always says, “Thank you”. I always appreciate it.
