This is Tina's 13th season with the KISU Swim Club (25+ years of coaching swimming). She competed her NCCP Level 3 and is continuing to work on her Level 4 this season.
Tina believes that swimming is a sport for everyone from the young to the not-so-young from the fitness interests to those with the highest goals. When you sign your child up for swim club, you are giving them a gift that will last a life time. There are many life lessons to be learnt through sport and competition which apply far beyond the water. After a few years in swim club, swimmers can walk into any pool and feel confident about their ability in the water.
She also has her BSc in Physiology, BFA in Fine Arts - Visual Art and MFA in Fine Arts. Tina has a wide variety of interests, which include outrigger paddling, cycling, rock climbing, hiking, skiing, and more. In June, she competed in a 36 hour adventure race involving treking, mtn. biking, paddling and ropes. This September, she will compete in a paddling race in Hawaii. She has completed 7 Ironman Canada.
